you... I'm trying to figure out how to use bollinger bands. Do you use them much? Are they something I should consider using for intermediate hold positions? It seems so simple. From what I know, if it drops below the lower band it's set for an increase, if it goes above the upper band it's set for a downturn. Is there more to it? I know to look at the companies financial situation before doing anything rash. But I found one stock, NOVL dropped below the lower band in early and is obviosly looking skyward. to watch several of the top players and how they are trading? Bring up a top player under standings, click on their standing number. You now see his/her trades. Click on File, New, then Window. To reduce size,look in the upper right hand corner. Click on restore button (icon with two windows). It is the middle button in-between minus sign button and "X" button. Now with this small window, adjust so you can see the latest trades. You can then drag to where you want it to appear. When you click on the large FSM window the small window will disappear. You can make it re-appear by clicking on the e icon, bottom of sheet. To make the information current, click on double chevron ">>" of the small window and then refresh. You can do one of these for each player you want to track. Why do this? It is quicker. rickgreen |

I personally have 400 shares. And I'm putting everything I can into it. Also, I can't find enough financial information on another stock, SYNX (also nasdaq) to make an accurate assumption as to long term growth. Where do you find your information Trumps? Green? Yank? | 5-11-00 Hap, Since you asked I will give you some tips pertaining to how to choose which stocks to invest in. Well first, I watch CNNFI about 30 minutes before the market opens. They basically tell you what to expect for the trading sessions and which stocks will open significantly higher. Well for the rest of the day, I personally look at the trends that stocks have taken by analyzing the charts. Some stocks tend to do poorly in the morning and better in afternoon, so you have to take that into account. Also invest in relatively cheap stocks (less than $15) so that you can buy more and make a larger profit. For long term investing you look at other factors such as if there is possible financial growth (higher expected earnings) and interest rates. Stock prices move inversely with interest rates so that should be taken into account as well. I hope this helps you a little.---Yankees Girl2 |

| 5-9-00 I always wath CNBC in the morning to get the analyst's picks. Most of the time they go up as soon as the market opens. Luck can't hurt either. I don't trade after 10am untill sometime around 2-3pm when it starts to pick up again. When you get the results, go to right hand side and click on desc, which puts the list in descending order. There you have it. Want more $5 to $10 stocks? Go to learn about investing, most active up and down, and look for the $5 to $10 stocks. |

And keep in mind that Bulls make money, Bears make money but pigs are slaughtered so get out of them as asap. try not to be too greedy. |
